ABOUT Music for jOY

I have had a love for music from a very young age, and always found excuses to share it: whether that’s concerts, teaching, or playing flute in my home for my family. It’s important to encourage the arts in our young people, but it’s just as important to rekindle that creativity as adults, which is what Music For Joy is all about. And we are already growing, aiming to become a hub for young professionals, emerging artists and people with a desire to learn new things. It’s never too late to discover your creativity.

    Ciara is an excellent piano teacher. I have been learning under her guidance for over 6 months. She is extremely patient and understands how to adapt her approach dependant on the student. She ensures that the learner is constantly and consistently improving - this includes receiving notes, as the learner, at the end of every lesson.

    Ciara also ensures to provide excellent resources that are tailored to the learners needs and current level. Having been provided with these resources, and adapted techniques, has resulted in me becoming a more confident and proficient player.

    I’ve wanted to learn guitar for a long time but always found myself running out of patience. Ciara however gave me tools to just have fun playing and helped me learn a couple of songs. Now I grew to absolutely love jamming. I don’t think my guitar will gather dust ever again!
